Rimini, October 20th 2020 – New dates for Beer & Food Attraction, the ´professional only´ event of IEG – Italian Exhibition Group. The event, which focuses on the relaunch of the out of home food & beverage business, concerns a market that is one of the cornerstones of the Italian economy, with its 87 billion euro turnover recorded in 2019.

Beer & Food Attraction moves from February to April and doubles: from Sunday 11th to Tuesday 13th April 2021 live in the halls of Rimini expo centre; from Wednesday 14th to Thursday 15th with the Digital Agenda which will leverage IEG´s technological know-how through a formidable matching platform between companies, visitors and international buyers.

The announcement was made today in Rimini by IEG´s CEO, Corrado Peraboni during the preview of Italgrob´s International Horeca Meeting, the Italian Federation of Ho.Re.Ca. associated with Confindustria. In the category of Ho.Re.Ca. 5,200 companies operate, including 1,800 specialized in Food & Beverage, most of which are associated with Italgrob. A sector that employs over 30,000 people.

The new dates of Beer & Food Attraction were decided by supporting the companies and interpreting the needs and expectations of a market strongly affected by the complexities of the scenario, thinking of a more favorable world situation.
Beer & Food Attraction 2021, with a strongly B2B connotation, will open up a new season in the sector, offering operators global competition tools. Companies will find an innovative expo, focused on business and relationships. They will be able to choose the most suitable set-ups and use additional online service kits, in a perfect balance between exposure and digital.

At the event also the professional appointments that characterize Beer & Food Attraction, starting with BB TECH Expo, dedicated to technologies for the production and packaging of beers and drinks.
Italian craft breweries will find the Beer Craft Arena: an entirely dedicated hall where operators can present the new products of the 2021 summer season. Mainstream beers and national and international special beers will be back again.

The Italgrob International Horeca Meeting announced today is at the center of a further novelty of the event: it will take place in the beverage hall to ensure even more effective interaction between companies taking part and the sector´s trade members.

The halls dedicated to experiential, fast, original food have been reconfirmed. At Beer & Food Attraction the product becomes a real socialization experience. Pizza and hamburgers will be the protagonists of the food events and the collaboration with the Italian Federation of Chefs will continue.

At the same time, preparations for Rimini Beer Week are proceeding at full speed, the new widespread event that will connect the exhibition and the city, integrating the B2B event at the expo centre with the one open to the public in the venues of Rimini, a territory ready to once more become Italy´s beer and beverage capital.

Beer & Food Attraction will be held in compliance with government regulations on health safety matters, regulated by the AEFI Protocol, the #Safebusiness project by IEG and the procedure for GBAC STAR international accreditation.
