FASTENER FAIR CONNECT WRAPPED UP WITH A DIGITAL SUPPLIER-BUYER MEETING PLATFORM AND EDUCATIONAL EVENT PROGRAMME

From 17-18 November 2021, the fastener and fixing community has come together at Fastener Fair CONNECT. The new digital event succeeded in connecting international attendees from various industrial sectors looking to source for the latest innovative products, equipment and services from fastening technology suppliers. In addition, the interactive networking event offered a platform for in-depth expert talks and knowledge transfer.

A total of 551 attendees from 47 countries took the opportunity to access the platform to meet suppliers, conduct business meetings and learn about the latest trends, policies and developments. A total of 163 exhibiting companies took advantage of the digital offering, presenting hundreds of product showcases to allow visitors to explore new products and services in more detail virtually.

In addition, Fastener Fair CONNECT featured a webinar programme with 7 sessions discussing the latest fastener and fixing technology trends and policies. The audience had the opportunity to listen to industry experts discussing the sector’s hot topics and interact with the speakers during the Q&A sessions. The webinars covered insights such as safety and security fasteners, complementary fastening & additive technologies, augmented reality, technical coating processes and European regulations for structural fixings.

November 2021 – Fastener Fair CONNECT is a two-day online meeting place for business trade, networking and learning opportunities, calling all international fastener and fixing industry professionals next week from 17-18 November. Mack-Brooks Exhibitions Ltd, the organiser of the digital get-together, announced today the webinar programme, tailored to support industry professionals to improve their skill set, knowledge and competencies. Organised in cooperation with partners and industry experts, the sessions will cover the most recent trends, policy, and technological updates relevant to the fastener and fixing supply chain.

On the second day: Reyher will host “CONU: Innovative counter nut with self-locking effect”; oculavis GmbH will hold “Remote Age: our way into a new age”; Würth Additive Group, in cooperation with Markforged, will discuss “The Complimentary Technologies of Fasteners & Additive”; followed by ECAP – European Consortium of Anchors Producers – presenting “Eurocodes: the European reference design codes”.
