New dates announced for the fourth edition returning to Fiera Milano City from 29 to 30 October 2024

FASTENER FAIR ITALY 2022 WRAPS UP WITH THE PRESENCE OF 2,825 INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS CONFIRMING ITSELF AS A KEY MARKETPLACE FOR THE FASTENER AND FIXING INDUSTRY

Milan, 7 December 2022 – The third edition of Fastener Fair Italy 2022, the biennial international event dedicated to fastener and fixing products, systems and services, has ended at Fiera Milano City.
Italy’s only trade fair event for the sector recorded a turnout of 2,825 industry experts, of which 2,384 trade visitors from 48 countries, including managers, executives and engineers and the presence of 205 exhibitors from 18 countries, with a solid representation of companies from Italy, China, Germany and Turkey.
The visitor mix at the show reflected the diversity of markets in which the fasteners and fixing industry operates. Visitors at the show came from a variety of sectors, including metal products (29%), distribution (28%), automotive (22%), construction (18%) and mechanical engineering (13%). The top visiting countries were Italy, Germany, Turkey, the United Kingdom, France and Spain. The next edition of Fastener Fair Italy is confirmed in Milan in autumn 2024, from 29 to 30 October.

The support obtained from the industrial sector, in addition to the significant presence of visitors and exhibitors, highlighted the importance of the show as a meeting hub for national and international professionals in one of the leading European industrial economies. As a result, the exhibition again established its role as a platform to present technologies and innovations, launch new products, promote corporate marketing activities, and meet customers, suppliers and business partners.

Organised by Mack-Brooks Exhibitions – Part of RX in collaboration with partners, a total of 10 conference sessions and exhibitor presentations were an essential part of this edition. They contributed to intensifying the visitor experience with relevant discussions for the entire industrial supply chain.

Significant figures characterise this constantly evolving sector: according to international reports, the Italian fastener and fixing market is expected to grow by 2.3% annually in the five years from 2020-2025. This average value comprehends all fastening systems, from the industrial and manufacturing sectors, automotive and very specialised applications, such as aerospace. Pre-pandemic data indicate that companies in the industry had a significant increase in turnover over the years, with a growth of 6.2% in 2018 and 6.9% in 2019, before the pandemic stop, which in 2020 recorded a decrease of -3.4% (a slight decline when compared with other markets).
The data from the Anima Confindustria Research Office referring to the first half of 2022 confirm export as a driving force of the Italian mechanic sector: +9% in the first half compared to the same period of 2021, for a total value of 17.1 billion euros. The primary destination market remains the EU area, which marks +15% and over 8 billion euros in exports, whilst the most significant growth in percentage terms occurs in the Americas: +37% in North America and +17% in Central and South America.

FASTENER FAIR ITALY 2022 OPENS ITS DOORS TO THE INDUSTRY IN MILAN

Milan, 29 November 2022 – The show opening for Fastener Fair Italy 2022, the biennial event dedicated to the fastener and fixing industry, will take place tomorrow in hall 3 at Fiera Milano City.

Now in its 3rd edition, the only trade event for the sector organised in Italy is attended by 205 exhibitors from 18 countries. A strong participation of companies from Italy, China, Germany and Turkey marks the importance of the event as a meeting point for national and international professionals in the sector in one of the main European industrial economies.

Organised by Mack-Brooks Exhibitions – part of RX, Fastener Fair Italy is supported by the industrial sector, which sees the event in Milan as an essential gathering place to discover new technologies and innovations, launch new products, promote corporate marketing activities, meet customers, suppliers and business partners. The exhibition showcases product segments destined for various industries, such as industrial and construction fixings, fastener manufacturing technologies, information, communication and services.

FASTENER FAIR ITALY 2022 – ITALY’S LEADING INTERNATIONAL FASTENER AND FIXING EXHIBITION CONFIRMS ITS ROLE AS A MEETING POINT FOR PROFESSIONALS IN THE SECTOR

Milan, 3 November 2022 – In less than a month, Fastener Fair Italy 2022 will open its door to the next edition of the international event dedicated to the fastener and fixing industry. On 30 November, the unmissable fastener and fixing technology event will kick off in Hall 3 at Fiera Milano City, in Milan, where national and international producers and distributors will be able to showcase their products and services, as well as present the latest innovations and technological advancement.
To date, there are around 200 exhibitors from 16 countries representing the sector. Fastener Fair Italy offers a meeting point for market professionals to share new trends, launch new products, encourage corporate marketing activities, and personally meet customers, suppliers and business partners, all gathered under the same roof in one of the major European industrial economies.

The event will include a programme of seminars, workshops and exhibitor presentations, which will enhance the visitor experience with relevant discussions aimed at the entire industrial supply chain. In particular, on Wednesday, 30 November, the conference organised by ECAP – European Consortium of Anchors Producers, “Revision of the Construction Products Regulation, based on the Commission proposal presented in March 2022”, will be held. On 1 December, the workshop “Finishes and surface treatments for fastening elements: trends and perspectives”, organised by AIFM – The Italian Association of Metal Finishing, focused on innovations regarding surface coatings of fastening systems.

FASTENER FAIR ITALY 2021 POSTPONED: 3RD INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION FOR FASTENER AND FIXING TECHNOLOGY WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 30 NOVEMBER – 1 DECEMBER 2022 AT FIERA MILANO CITY, ITALY.

February 2021 – Following last week’s communication on Fastener Fair Stuttgart’s postponement, Mack Brooks Exhibitions has today announced new dates for Fastener Fair Italy. The event, scheduled to be held at Fiera Milano City from 10 – 11 November 2021, will now take place from 30 November – 1 December 2022. Due to the overlap in product categories, exhibitors and visitors between the two shows, the decision has been made to postpone Fastener Fair Italy. The period between the two shows will give the fastener and fixing industry enough time to guarantee that the products and services on display are up-to-date with the latest innovations and developments that the sector offers.

On behalf of the organiser Mack-Brooks Exhibitions, Liljana Goszdziewski, Portfolio Director of the European Fastener Fairs, commented on the announcement: “Following our decision to postpone Fastener Fair Stuttgart to the Autumn, we had to review when to hold Fastener Fair Italy. Of course, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and related lockdowns and travel restrictions have had an impact on our show calendar. As a result, we agreed to move Fastener Fair Italy back to its original two-year cycle to avoid its dates overlapping with Fastener Fair Stuttgart. This will also allow all exhibitors to tailor their offering based on the market demands of each show and target their specific audiences accordingly. By postponing the show, we want to give the fastener and fixing industry time to plan their attendance at both events and optimise the benefits of their participation at each show.”
The Fastener Fair Italy team will communicate closely with customers and partners over the coming weeks and months and thank exhibitors, partners, suppliers and visitors for their understanding and support during this unprecedented time.
